About
Perfectionist, spitfire, smart ass, over achiever, stubborn, witty, determined, loyal and emotionally stunted; all of these words have been used to describe me!
Hi, my name is Beth Ronmark and I’m a barbarian slave living on a planet called Gor. My journey might sound familiar too, it’s one that has been told by other women brought to this cold harsh planet.
Growing up on earth I was raised in a small Midwestern town in Wisconsin by my Aunt and Uncle on their farm. My mother, shortly after my birth had disappeared, never to be heard from again.
Strange, it wasn’t until my 30th birthday that I even felt the need to find her. Growing up my life was ideal. My aunt had taught me to cook from scratch, my uncle made me the tom boy I am. There are so many wonderful memories of them. It was their love and support that pushed me into following my dream of becoming an investigative reporter. My life was full.
Then one day, without realizing it, life had changed. I felt this overwhelming need to find my mother. So I started to pull in favors trying to find out what happened to her. Following a lead I’d scheduled to meet this man at the old drive-in off of Hwy 45. The last thing I remember is getting out of my car.
When I woke up I found myself chained, lying on the ground. Panicked I sat up, closing my eyes willing myself to stay calm. There were men near by talking, their voices in hushed tones. Listening carefully I tried to make out what they were saying but the language they spoke was unfamiliar. Full of confusion, scared I struggled against the bindings as one of the men approached me. Lifting me up, forcing me to stand he held onto the chain attached to my wrists leading me off.
